Introduction

The UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying tournament was an international football competition that was played from March 2023 to March 2024 to determine the 23 UEFA member associations that would qualify for the UEFA Euro 2024 final tournament.

Qualification Process

The qualifying draw took place in Frankfurt on Sunday 9 October 2022. The 53 UEFA member associations were divided into 10 groups, with the top two teams in each group qualifying directly for the final tournament.

Play-Offs

The remaining four teams will compete in play-offs in March 2024 to determine the final three teams that will qualify for the tournament. The play-offs will be played on a single-leg basis, with the winners of the play-offs qualifying for the final tournament.

Format

The qualifying matches were played on a home-and-away basis, with each team playing two matches against each of the other teams in their group. The top two teams in each group qualified directly for the final tournament.
